VTConnect is a HIPAA compliant video-teleconferencing and real time chat tool for connecting practitioners and clients for virtual treatment. The VTConnect app features a customized user interface specifically designed to make clients feel safe, secure, and at ease as they follow the same familiar steps they are accustomed to when on-site for an appointment. The VTConnect app is part of a proprietary, multi-platform tele-health solution for registered users at either http://portal.vtconnect.net or https://virtualtherapyconnect.com. To use the VTConnect app, practitioners and clients must first create an account and have an established connection. All organizations using this app have different processes to create an account. Contact the organization you are working with to set up an account.
When it is time for a scheduled session, the practitioner and client launch VTConnect from their device. After securely signing in, the user will view the Appointment screen which lists all established connections. After selecting the appropriate person from the list, the user clicks the Connect VTC Session button. The client enters the Waiting Room screen until their practitioner arrives in the Treatment Room. Once the practitioner is ready for the session, the client will be able to click to join the Treatment Room. The session is completed when the practitioner clicks the End button.
